How quickly we forget

There is another restructure at work, which means there will be an increase in second line manager roles. Several people – sane people – will be going for these roles.

This has happened before. Restructure, more jobs, and within a year of this, things changed again, the realisation was that too many chiefs and not enough indians is not a good business practice, and several highly skilled, highly thought of people lost their jobs.

Moral of the story? We’re destined to repeat the mistakes we made in the past. Learn from them. How quickly we forget.
